CENEBIT participated as a sponsor in the 10th Panhellenic Conference on Biomedical Technology, organized by the Hellenic Society of Biomedical Technology (ELEVIT) in collaboration with the Aristotle Medical Forum of the Department of Medicine of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The conference took place from 6 to 8 October 2023, at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, and brought together scientists, researchers and professionals from all over Greece.

The conference covered a wide range of topics, from health innovation and artificial intelligence in health, to personalized health and medical precision, covering aspects such as Internet of Things technologies, bioinformatics, digital health technologies and many more. Participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas, present their work and learn about the latest developments in the field.

Milestones of the conference were the speech on Greek Startups & Spinoffs around Biomedical Technology, in which the President of CENEBIT Dr. Alkinoos Athanasiou, as well as the presence and speech of the honorary guest of CENEBIT Dr. Nikiforos Panorios, who expressed the need for open access of young students to technology worldwide, as well as the need to bridge the gap between AI technology and humans. This was followed by the award ceremony, including the "Kostas Giokas" 2023 prize for the best oral presentation and the awards for the best poster presentation. In addition, for the first time, the Student Paper Competition was organized, aiming to highlight the best student papers in the field, thus offering a valuable opportunity for young scientists to showcase their work.

The CENEBIT team had the opportunity to present part of their work and their vision for the future of the field. The active presence of the team both in symposiums, student competition, Oral & Poster Presentations, and workshops was an opportunity to discuss with renowned scientists and explore the dynamics of the interface between academic research and industry. During the conference, the team had multiple meetings and discussions with distinguished professionals in the field, exploring the possibility of creating new collaborations and approaches to enhance the two-way knowledge exchange between the two sectors.
