Code of Conduct of the Centre for Neurosciences & Biomedical Technology P.C.
The partners, scientific supervisors and employees of the Company must follow the Code of Ethics of the Hellenic Society of Biomedical Technology (ELEVIT), as the preeminent scientific body of Biomedical Technology in Greece:
- Use their knowledge, skills and talents to ensure and enhance the safety, health and well-being of the public, their colleagues and health professionals.
- Consider accountability towards patients' rights as a primary concern.
- Defend the public's right to privacy and confidentiality.
- To always consider the wider and long-term consequences of their work.
- Comply with all relevant national, European and international standards and regulations.
- Manage public resources with prudence, insight and responsibility.
- Publish and present the results of research accurately and faithfully, accurately and clearly.
- Keep training methods and content free from undue influence by specific interests.
- Try to avoid conflicts of interest and cite conflicts of interest should they arise.
- Represent themselves, their title, their role and the Company, as appropriate, accurately.
- Demonstrate honesty, fairness and integrity in all professional interactions.
- Maintain this code by their actions, by example, and by influence.
- Recognizing the importance of biomedical technology in advocating, promoting and advancing public health and welfare, to commit themselves to the highest standards of integrity, accountability and ethical and professional conduct.
