Dr. Alexander Astaras, an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at the American College of Thessaloniki and a Research Associate at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, is an Electronics and Biomedical Engineer. With a Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh, he has made significant contributions, including the design of electronic ASIC chips and research in biomedical micro-electro-mechanical sensors, low-power mixed-signal VLSI electronics, machine learning, and medical robotics.
